That is right!
For my work with many peers we have been nominated for a Mid-American Emmy! For my part in the project I produced, directed and shot some footage for On the Hill: Fayetteville Stories! We are all beside ourselves right now as this will be our first Emmy nomination across the board! This holds such a special place in my heart as I put my soul into editing and producing the absolute best product I could muster! My goodness did those work heavy nights pay off. Now it all feels worth it, every struggle I’ve gone through in the last four to five years is worth it. “This is just the beginning” I heard from a dear friend on a voicemail this morning, and he’s right the floodgates are open! With a National Broadcast Award and an Emmy Nomination it is only the beginning of this next chapter in my life. To hold that trophy in my hands would be indescribable, and I want it therefore I shall have it. Now if only I could get my butt outta school 😛
